A friend of Fred Tomaselli and a fan of his work since the 1990s, Paul Laster will talk to the Brooklyn-based artist about his attraction to collage, appropriation of articles documenting global events from The New York Times as grounds for paintings, and his 2009 Aspen Art Museum survey show, which initiated an ongoing relationship with the Aspen arts community and the area’s surrounding nature.
